We spent our last morning wandering the resort, spending an hour on the beach in the sun and even finally saw Gerard Butler myself! He was really really exceptionally handsome. :)
Will got accosted by a woman in the gift shop who asked if he was Jennifer Aniston's body guard. Racial profiling, ma'am!! Ok, he's big but come on...a body guard in madras knee shorts! I think not...
I wore my sandals home just to cling to the past few days though my toes were none too happy with me...it's cold here! I am happy to be home though, because I missed my baby so much!!
Anyway...we're home now and I just checked my work email for the first time since Wednesday! That's huge for me and I'm glad I did it. Nothing went awry (that I know of...) because my team rules!!

Last day...sigh...
Well, this was it...our last full day here at the Palmilla. It has been awesome. We literally spent the entire day out on the beach. Here's pretty much how it looked:
And here's my favorite part of every day...I come back to the room after a long, exhausting day of doing...well...nothing and the lights are low, there's soft music playing, there's an aromatherapy candle burning, chocolates and bottles of water by the bed and this laid out on/around the bed:

Celebrity Sightings?
Ok, so...I didn't personally see these people but those in our group claim to have seen, at our hotel, Jennifer Aniston, Gerard Butler and Courtney Cox as well as some pitcher named Andy Pettitte.
The paparazzi are in boats off the beach at the resort and there are employees of the resort whose whole job is to stand and flash giant mirrors at the boats to mess up their photos...I'm not joking.

En Mexico - Dia Tres
Well...what can I say? Today was a lot like yesterday and that...is alright with me!
Will golfed early this morning and I had a Chocolate Synergy spa treatment complete with massage, hot oil scalp treatment, tea therapy, aromatherapy and even sound therapy. I was so relaxed I almost couldn't muster the strength to order breakfast *heavy dramatic sigh*....but I managed. Will was still golfing so I was on my own and the lovely staff set it up on the patio.
I was about to make myself an espresso when heard the plates clanging outside...I ran to the patio door and lo and behold, I had a visitor. A naughty little visitor who stole the butter for my toast. I quickly moved everything inside but he was still very interested in the table runner...
Will and I also took a long hike out the front gates and through the surrounding neighborhoods. The plants and flowers are so incredible...here are a few examples:

En Mexico - Dia Dos
Today was about as perfect as a day can be...work out in the morning, chillin' on the patio with espresso made in my personal espresso machine :) and taking pictures.
Will golfed until noon and then we had lunch at the pool and then down to the beach for an afternoon of drinks and good conversation..jpg)
We went back to the room and all the vodka tonics and too much sun created a perfect 3 hour nap before dinner on the beach. Literally, like torches in the sand, barefoot dinner with the ocean roaring 25 yards away. It was amazing.
I'm a little crispy and sun strokey but feeling pretty relaxed..jpg)

En Mexico - Dia Uno
We arrived!
The flight here was fairly uneventful except for the very awkward moment when Will...sitting on the other side of the aisle from me was literally straddled by a drunk woman seated next to him. Apparently she's never heard of asking the person on the aisle to get up so you can get out...yikes. I've never seen Will so befuddled and flustered. LOL. He was a good sport about it but it was one of those very odd, "REALLY?!" moments.
We arrived en mass at the Pamilla - One and Only Resort. Literally 15 people from our group arrived all at once. We piled into giant white SUVs and drove about 15 minutes to the resort. As we drove up, we were greeted by an army of staff in these gorgeous cream linen uniforms. They offered water and homemade popsicles of fresh pineapple, watermelon and mango juices. I can't begin to describe this place so I'll just have to do it visually. We haven't even roamed the grounds yet, just getting settled in our room but it's just amazing.
Our patio and the complimentary tequila platter that awaited us there...

I'm looking forward to late mornings and ocean walks. Will is looking forward to GOLF! :)
